Creating a consistent experience across institutional websites of all sizes and purposes, anchored by an award-winning flagship site design.
Employed at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education for nearly 10 years, I created, coded & maintained front-end design for over 40 websites and applications. As the only creative for most of my time there, I single-handedly designed much of the school’s web identity, including the flagship website for prospective students which won a Davey award for its design in 2013.
My ultimate achievement was the standardization of a design system across many different web sites that were built for programs, centers, initiatives, and student groups.

One of the key challenges in this role was managing the workload– serving the entire Graduate school as a small development team with limited resources. Over time, we standardized and optimized many processes for efficiency.
