Collaborating with researchers at CPRE, I created several custom interactive applications that enable their work or bring it to life. My partnership with the center began with the Ongoing Assessment Project, a tool for teachers that allows them to record the way their students solve math problems in order to identify gaps in their knowledge. The Data Story Builder enables researchers to create a story around early childhood education data by fusing data visualization with a narrative. Hashtag Common Core is an interactive, data-rich record of twitter’s response to the launch of Common Core learning standards in American schools.

About the Data Story Builder
